I grew up in a house with five kids and a tight budget. New clothes were a rare treat.  But we had a house full of stuff  and a mother who encouraged us to experiment and create to our hearts desire.  We turned odds and ends into toys, hand-me-downs into high fashion!  Anything was possible and resourcefulness became a way of life. That experience shaped who I am and has become a driving force in much that I do.
 
That's why I am passionate about CLEVERSCENE.  It's not just my company, it's my way of life.  I love the challenge of creating handbags from cast off clothing.  It is fun and satisfying to design bags that are reminiscent of the original garments but with a clean, fresh new life.
